Biography

I am 80 years old licenced in february 1963. my rigs at this time are a kenwood TS 830S that i use for HF etc, I also have a IC703 that i use for qrp. my antenna's are a doublet for 80 to 10 meters and one leg of a beam that i use as a trap vertical for 20-15 and 10 meters. I have made many types of antenna in the last few years but this suites my operating these days.
I mostly work CW and have done so all my active life, I am not so good any more but still enjoy it. used to work amtor but also enjoy rtty and psk. I am fists 7195 no cc hi. Port Talbot club were very active in NFD hense the love of CW. however my main job was looking after the generator and logging, ( 50 years as a field engineer, if it had wheels or tracks i could repair it.)
I made a mess of my aplication for LOTW but will use any other, I do not bother to collect cards any more but will qsl if requested.
