Biography

I have always been interested in Radio (background in Sound Engineering) but only took up the challenge to get my licence in late December 2020 aged 57!!, I passed my Foundation exam in January '21, the Intermediate exam in May '21 and my Full Licence Exam in October '21. Learning CW at the moment via CWops Academy, just completed the Beginners Course in June '22, Fundamentals in September '22, Intermediate course in Jan '23 and the Advanced Course in June '23. I highly recommend CWops Academy, if you want to learn CW then this is the place to do it. Amateur Radio really is a great hobby!

I occasionally use DMR Radio and enjoy it, even if it is another learning curve :)
