Biography

Hi.

'If it's easy, I ain't interested'.
I operate from a 'half a postage stamp' being located on a street corner.
Doesn't seem to be the big issue I hear others complaining about. I've worked many countries running mainly QRP power levels to a home-made vertical aerial made from tent poles riveted together with a home built auto-matcher at the feed point. I feed the vertical against a system of buried radial wires spread over two small gardens. A home-made K1POO type OCF dipole is strung over to a neighbours house. I also have house mounted and indoor aerials. I can manage 40M - 13Cms plus satellites from my 'extremely restricted' qth. Trust me, you can *always* launch a signal.
I almost exclusively operate QRP.

I much prefer eQSL to any other method of QSL'ing, but I will QSL direct for interesting contacts if needed. Life is to short to use the Bureau.

Equipment

Here I use IC-7300, FT990, TS830S, Elecraft KX2, Yaesu FT817ND and some homebrew radios.
I have transverteres to get to 1296 and 2400Mhz.

Thanks for looking me up on QRZCQ.COM
