Biography

Born 1951 B Licence 1979 upgraded to A Licence 1988 after 12wpm morse exam. Prefer DX , rag chewing and just recently Data Modes. Re-learning CW (so be patient with me). Now retired so hopefully more time for Radio. Running a FTdx3000 to a hexbeam by MW0JZE Also G5RV and 142 ft Long wire. Using a MFJ962d and a Ameriton 811 and also a FT897d for mobile/backup. I send a qsl card via the Bureau but if you need one urgently e-mail me and I will send one (No charge) Ham radio is a hobby -Not a business. I also like to get SWL reports .

Using a FTdx3000 to a Hexbeam by MW0JZE AT 25-30FT . Also run a FT897d mostly for VHF. I use a Diamond 2000 co-linear for VHF I have a G5RV for 40m and a 142ft long wire for 80m & 160m. Using a MFJ962d 1500w tuner and a Ameritron Linear Amp. Two screens on a Dell computer running windows 7 Have HAM RADIO Deluxe with HM780 for Digimodes,Also use a Macbook for logging. QRZ and Lotw are best,
