Biography

Hello I am John I was born in Aberdeen Scotland but lived most of my early life in North Boarhunt near Fareham in Hampshire.I started with cb in the early eighties the went onto Short Wave listening thought this is great why not take the examination,must admit I found some of the theory mind blowin but any way I passed in 1982,got the B license for UHF/VHF could not do the morse no matter how I tried. My first radios were A Kenwood TR9130 and a Yaseu 4800 worked a lot of portable on Beachy Head at 600 ft asl. Went off the air in 1994 and came back in 2003.
