Biography

I was born in 1944 during the latter part of the last war. I am now widowed with several children to my name, youngest being 41. My station consists of HF radio FT897D, G5RV changed into a doublet up at 10 metres, VHF/UHF TM-G707 (FM only) antenna is the X300, 5 element quad beam in my loft. wouxun hand held the KG-UV2D giving me 1 and 4 watts out.

Equipment

Yaesu FT-897D for all my HF needs it also includes 2 mtrs 70cms and even 6 mtrs, I have also a Yaesu FT-TM-G707 for my FM needs on 2mtrs and 70cms. Antenna wise I have a G5RV changed into a Doublet for my HF and I have a Home-made 5 element quad for 70 cms, home-made Super J Pole for 2 and 70's and the only factory made antenna is the X300.
