Biography

Born in Hemsworth, West Yorkshire in 1949. Moved to the Midlands in 1972

Originally licensed in Edgbaston, Birmingham in 1982 as a Class B with the callsign G6HNB. I passed the CW test (what a great feeling) at Cardiff in 1984 together with G4YFT and G4YGX to obtain the Class A callsign G4YMT. I was operating from Northfield, South Birmingham, from 1986 until I chose to go QRT in 1989. In 2011, after a 22 year break I was able to reinstate my old callsign. I hope to have a QSO with you soon.
