Hi thanks for looking me up.

Moved here to Rainford about 11 yrs ago . From spending 13 yrs in the Isle of Man as GD4KIN and I maintained my old G8 cal as GD8TMR.

Rainford is a semi rural area a large village in fact . I think there are 3 or 4 hams in the area but I have only heard one !!

Came pretty close to going qrt acouple of years ago as I found no more challenges in the hobby. lost interest in dx ....had the big yagis daily requests for scheds (no fun when someone rings you up from japan asking for a cw sched at 03:am . most of the modes I loved all seemed to have vanished. however I resisted the qrt and settled down with CW. and 100watts and diy wire antennas. I like keyboard digi modes psk and like to type live with out using the macros . some rtty when I hear it on! and a bit of low earth sats on fm .

Tried 4 mtrs, no joy tried 6 mtrs no joy . Built a few mag loops which I still use at my allotment.
Got a shambolic shack . I like it that way .
