Biography
First licensed as G8EAO and G8EAO/M in 1969, later G6ANG/T on 625 lines black and white TV around 1975. Then in 1979 to G4IUG.
Now operational from Dartmouth, Devon UK. My wife Jill is G8FAW who like me took the full written RAE..
One of the first users of the first UK Repeater GB3PI in 1973. Built GB3WS West Suffolk 70cm repeater.
Wrote extensively in Practical Wireless. Ham Radio Today, Monitoring Times and others under a synonym in the 80's.
Operational on and one of the first users of the first Geostationary satellite Es'hail QO-100 SSB

1972 RMS Audio Cavendish Suffolk. Stereo Tuner design
1974 GEC Marconi Chelmsford. Systems Engineer
1980 RF Technology Mildenhall Suffolk. RF telemetry and control of remotely piloted vehicles for the government
1983 Pye, later Philips Telecom Cambridge. Senior Design Engineer PF85 and PFX handheld radios.
1985 Timestep Electronics. Specialised test equipment
1986 Timestep Electronics. Weather Satellite reception equipment manufacturer
2000 Timestep Electronics. Inmarsat C protocol consultant
2014 Timestep Electronics. HiFi Turntable of the year 2014, 2016, 2017
2016 Timestep Electronics. Supplier of EQ Preamplifiers to New York Public Library and many others
2020 Timestep return to making and selling Amateur Radio products
