Biography

First licensed in 1977 as G8OSB, took morse test and became G4HGT. Soon got the DX bug, concentrating on VHF DX throughout the early 1980s. Member of the A1 (Derbyshire Hills) contest group G4ZAP for years, taking part in 3-4 contests every year.

Member of Squarebashers DX-peditions to ZB2, CT3 and 9H4

Recently joined forces with the Colchester group G0VHF/P for VHFNFD

Not QRV from home but QRV 70, 144 and 432MHz from portable locations around Yorkshire. Taken part in 144MHz UKAC and 70MHz UKAC for the past 3 years
