Biography

First Licenced in 1974
I worked overseas for 30+ years during which time I was not active.
The last 20 years were in Italy and I returned to UK in 2015 where I re-discovered amateur radio.
My main interest is CW QRP and I am still re-learning CW and would greatly appreciate QRS QSOs and reports of my signal.
The intention is to work portable QRP and eventually SOTA activation when more competent.

FISTS No. 18149
SKCC No. 17044
GQRP No. 260

Equipment

LNR MTR-3B running 2-3 watts on 20/30/40 metres

Recently purchased QRP Labs QCX for 80m and 17m each putting out about 2 watts (powered by 3S LiPo and LiFe batteries).

Restored Heathkit HW8 running 1 watt on 15 metres

My antennas are 15m random length End Fed wire and 1m diameter Mag Loop installed in the attic.

I have also recently installed a 3.6m diameter Mag Loop for 80m in the attic and would appreciate reports of my signal.
