Biography

I was interested in radio communications after becoming an army cadet in 1942, and in 1946 joined the army as a regular soldier in the Royal Engineers as a radio operator. I served in the army for a period of 22 years and during that time became interested in ham radio, and got my full licence in 1969. My main interest is on CW but use SSB from time to time on the HF Bands and also use FM on 2m and 70cm but only mobile operations.
