| Biography I received by ham radio license in February 1987, after passing the City and Guilds Radio Amateurs Examination (RAE), in December 1986.
Almost all of my transmissions are at 5W, or below.
My most used radio for HF is an FT-818.
I enjoy contesting, not for the winning, as I don't think I ever will, but for the opportunity to reduce power, below 5W, with plenty of stations available to work.
