Biography

Started out in radio in the mid 1970s as SWL (shortwave listener).
First transmission was in 1978 on 27 Mhz am CB (Citizen Band Radio).

Became a licensed radio amateur 15 years later in January of 1994.
Attained City & Guilds Radio Amateurs Exam (credit) / 12wpm CW.

Not so active on the amateur bands using traditional methods for DX.
Simply down to high noise. Plus a different (changed) hf environment.

Mostly operate via analog based voip. Echolink, Svxlink and Allstar.
That means I’m no longer a real radio ham. Just pretending like ;-)

And no... Not on that other qrz site? More than happy here. Thanks.
