Biography

Started out in radio in the mid 1970s as SWL (shortwave listener).
First transmission was in 1978 on 27 mhz am CB (Citizen Band Radio).

Became a licensed radio amateur 15 years later in January of 1994.
Attained City and Guilds RAE (Radio Amateurs Examination) / 12wpm CW.

Old school analog operator. No data. No CW. Just phone (voice).
Not on social media (bar here). Nor messaging apps etc. Just ye olde PTT.

And no.. I'm not on that other qrz site either? Quite happy here ;-)
