Biography

i am active mainly on 20 and 17 metres at the moment using CW. I have returned to the hobby since my retirement so my cw is a bit rusty. I currently send at 16 wpm so would like to speed up a little!

Equipment

Kenwood TS - 590SG

For 20 metres and above I use my trusty Cushcraft R5 vertical and when 6 metres is open I have a ground plane antenna.

I occasionally use 40 metres but don't have sufficient space for a decent antenna. I have built a folded dipole for this band which is erected, zigzag fashion, in my loft. A compromise but it does get out into Europe.
