Biography

Concerning all qsl cards that I receive I MAKE IT A DUTY TO REPLY AS SOON AS I RECEIVE THEM SO THEY WON'T PILE UP ON ME.

Out of 5000 QSO LOGGED I have received roughly 120 CARDS only.
Won't make a fortune out of THAT.

I AM AN ORDERLY PERSON.

I write on the envelope the date I received it. Next to the postal seal.

I write the band and mode.

I write if there's either
money, pre stamped envelope (mostly from France, it goes without saying),
Or international redeem .

I double check in my log.
Not in the log NO QSL
AND I SEND BACK,CARD, MONEY ,AND A NOTE TELLING THAT I DIDN'T WORK THAT STATION.
I LOOK FOR QUALITY AND NOT QUANTITY.

Once mailed i mark SENT or QSL on both envelope and qsl cards.

I printed 2 sets of 1000 cards it's not to have them taking dust ???? .

Before I got them I used to print PHOTOS at 50 cents a picture. The 2000 cards recto verso cost me only 100 euros delivered in St Martin.

So if I was a gold digger or money hunter as it seems to be suggested I would do like some cheap operators sending me printed on cheap quality paper with ink jet that washed out after the rain ruined it before it arrived to me.

Plus whenever someone sends extra cash,
(and I can say that the two SWL sent generously )
it allows me to send a QSL to one who didn't put any money in the envelope.

This being said when the pandemic hit I noticed a 4 months delay between the postal stamps seals and the date of arrival.

Now it's between 2 and 5 weeks maximum.

By the way, when I used to print the photos the format was not matching US POSTAL envelopes. They were not fitting inside and I also had to buy envelopes.

I'm an honest person and I love the old fashioned way of paper QSL.
It's my pleasure to take my time and answer. I could use the printer and generate a sticker instead I use my pen.

It saddens me deeply to see that I am being treated as such.

But I guess that some people can feel good bashing others. Sick world.

Best regards
Es
