Biography

I was born 19th august 1964 in the capital town of Martinique island called Fort de France . Right about now I have four kids named Sandrine, Nicolas, Jonathan and Lawrence.

I’m very fond of electronic and I was eleven year old when I built up by my own self my very first RX HF. So I wanted absolutely to speak to those people on the frequency.

At the beginning my first TX was just a little talky walky, but I’m talking about toys everyone can buy at supermarket, then I bought a real transceiver. During this I did so much antennas and I decided to stop when I made the cubical quad because (FM5DN) (Léonce Richer) was every time saying to me that’s a good antenna.

Then, time to go to the army came to me. I past it at VERDUN in FRANCE to the transmissions as a radio operator for the colonel C. Lord have mercy; he’s dead already.

When I came back to MARTINIQUE, I was practicing data processing associated to radio, receiving CW first and then thanks to FM1HN (Julien Tijus) SSTV, PSK and even satellites in APT mode in order to know about the weather on the Caribbean island.

In 2003 I obtained my radio HAM licence third class for VHF/UHF (FM0HM) and one year later I had the second class licence to operator HF frequencies.

As soon as I received my licence, FM5DN was every time helping me. He told me about what he knows in radio. He gave me a 7 elements beam, called long john, for 50Mhz at my Birthday.

He get me in touch with K6SV (George) , for radio purchase and so forth. Moreover, introduced me to Victor FM5DP who gave me his own HF2V antenna to get ready on the low band. FM5CW,Valère TIJUS, an old Timer in HAM radio sold to me a tower at cheap price, which was so cherish for him. A dedicated thanks to FM5WE, Guy Dupont, and FM5DN,Léonce, for conveying their background in Dxing.

FM1HN Julien, FM1II Christian, FM0IR Franck, FM0IT Pascal, FM0JZ Yvon are my friends. We were on eleven meters band together. We prepared our licence altogether also in order to have new blood in the FM radio Ham rank.

I’m young and really concern by my hobby, more I’m happy. My knowledge is increasing and I can help my friends in better conditions anyway. RADIO IS WONDERFUL.
