Biography
I am active usually on 20M, 2M and 70cms for several months each year from Mougins.
I am active on my main call G8MM on all bands 80M to 23cms throughout the year.
I have an IC7000,used as the main station with a PicaTune ATU, and an IC706 which I can take portable into the mountains.
The QTH in Mougins is excellent for VHF/UHF propagation across the Med. with good clear take-off to take advantage of ducting which occurs frequently
I have been licensed since 1959, originally as G3OQB, then from 2003 as G8MM.
I am a very keen home-brew constructor and have two PicaStar (SDR) transceivers.
I am a member of the Antibes radio club.
