First radio experience in 1985: Sending to nearby friends many Oric 1 & Apple ][ binaries and basics language programs with a Citizen Band (HAM Viking & K40 antenna) connected to computer tape port !
Then, DX station with a Major 788, Zetagi BV131 & Hy-Gain 525 Super Golden Penetrator antenna...
