Biography

Hello

i'm located about 500 km southeast of Paris, 100 km south of Geneva and 20 km north of Grenoble city.

I'm licensed since April 2014 but i've started enjoying the radio 3 years in the early 80's with the CB .

After discovering SDR with simple usb tv-tuner and Funcube, i've ordered my little FT-450D at the end of 2013.

My XYLCA wire horizontal loop is installed all around the rooftop of my house, not very efficient but invisible.

Maximum QRB is around 19000 km with ZL4IR and ZL2JBR in ssb, which is exceptionnal for an XYLCA.

My power supply is a modified J8713A coming from an old network switch, delivering 13.2V / 50A

XYLCA = XYL Compatible Antenna
