Biography

Born in 1960, I begun to interested me to astronomy in 1970, and to radio in 1974 when I listened some voices speaking in Italian and French languages in my talky walky offered for the Christmas day.

My first contact with the amator radio world was realised, near 1980, when I met Mr Tonna's in Rheims city and I heard the Guam Island, on the 20 meter band of his receptor. At this moment I had an great choc ! but my life continued.

Between 1970 and 2005, I bought several telescopes to practice the visual astronomy of deep sky objects and selenography landscapes and planets. I've studied doubles stars orbits without amator radio activity.

Today, I'm retired and I live at Aubrives with Ankie, my beautiful Dutch wife, and our two cats Charlie and Toto .

I live at 100Km west from Luxemburg and 100 km south from Brussel in a small house where we enjoy the country life. My grid square is JO20JC at 800m from belgium border, French Ardennes.

Today licensed. I enjoy to work DX and am very keen to work the most distance possible by long pass. If you are interrested, the QSLs Cards confirming the contacts could be sent you by Email.

My house is located in a deep valley where any DX is no possible with W6, W7, KH, WH, FO, E51 by SP way. I'm sometime on frequency from my mobile station from the QTHs below :

- JN29HW near Revin, when ZL/VK is possible by LP ;
- JO20JC near Chooz, for DXs with NA and SA via SP ;
- JN29IX city Fumay when DX is possible with AS by SP.

You can see my page on QRZ.com with any pictures :-)
