Biography

Forecaster at the French Met Office during about 40 years, and now retired !
But very busy....as usual. From time to time "on the Air", when the weather is bad and when I have nothing to do in the garden, or with my little family ( papy-sitting ).

Equipment

Kenwood TS-680S with a MC-60 as microphone. My antenna is "home made" : it's a FD4 in the garden. I have also a Halo ( home made ) for the 50 Mhz.
Kenwood TR-751E for the 144 Mhz with a Diamond X30 and also a Tonna 4 elements ( rotative ).

Two other VHF for outside....Yaesu FT-270 and an old ICOM IC-T21E ( 144-430 )

With this simple station, I managed, last May-June, very nices QSO with Wallis and Futuna, Japan and the island La RĂ©union ! With only about 40 W in USB !
