---

I am a 50 year old German citizen, living in France since 14 years.

Languages:
English, German, French, Spanish

Working professionally in Satellite Communications

I would like to do my Amateur Radio License in 2021 or 2022, depending on available time in my professional and private life.

---

First, I was listening to strong AM shortwave radio broadcasts.
Then, SSB demodulation of HAM radio QSOs became appreciated.
Afterwards, CW decoding was just brilliant. -.-. --.- -.. -..- :-)

At that time, I decided to get a registered SWL call.

And now, the next step... I have entered into the world of FT8.
And I feel like, here at home with a relatively inexpensive SWL receiver and no real outdoor antenna, I can really listen to the world - I really mean just all of it.

I am fascinated and enthusiastic about what HAM radio does. :-)

---

Important remark:
HAM radio is non-discriminatory worldwide. We do not care which culture, race, origin, religion you have, disability you suffer from or which passport you possess.
Links can be established one-way or two-way on wireless frequencies around the globe. HAM Radio is one of the most free forms of non-commercial communications between telecommunication enthusiasts that does not stop at country borders.

We are all ONE PEOPLE - worldwide!

External Selfmade Longwire Antenna for shortwave reception, optimum in 30 and 10 meter bands, usable in 20 and 40 meter bands.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
