Biography
I have been interested in amateur radio since I was very young. My first memory was on February 23 th, 1981, when there was a failed coup d'état in Spain and my father with his 27MHz station (Super Star 3600) was listening to what other people were talking about over the radio.
Since then, I have always lived my childhood with an amateur radio. I saw my father talking with other countries and doing Morse code with his Yaesu FT 7B.
It was already in 1995 when I began my most direct relationship with amateur radio, starting with 27 Mhz. My battle name was "Asterix," and in 1997, my first callsign was EB4HIF.
In 2000, I changed to EB1FEL and in 2007 to EA1VVV.
It was during this September 2023 when I obtained my new callsign EA1ZJ.
I am currently broadcasting with a Yaesu ft 991A and I have a simple antenna Diamond CP6.
I like phonics. I am currently studying CW, and I hope that in the months ahead, this will be one of my main broadcasting modes.
