Biography

News reporter for Public Radio and TV, TV host and photoreporter from Estonia.

First ham license obtained in 1991 (ES4RNM), since 1992 - ES4RM. Been out of the operating for more than 15 years, and get back to the air in June 2013. You may find me on the bands (20m to 6m, 4m, 2m and 70cm) working CW and sometimes SSB.

Since 2019 also active on LEO satellites, mostly on RS-44. Free for skeds! :) Current ODX on RS-44 KI7UNJ (8116 km), and PY2RN (11402km) on IO-117 satellite. Have worked more than 390 grids and 83 DXCC, 6 Continents.

Antennas: GP for 14 - 28MHz, 4 el Yagi for 50/70MHz, PA144-432-21-3B for 144/432MHz by YU1CF mounted on Yaesu G-5500DC az/el rotator. Also 5el 145Mhz and 8 el 432Mhz Yagi vertical for VHF/UHF FM.
