Biography
Licensed since April 2018. As everyone in this hobby - constant learning. Now learning Morse code.
At home I am using Icom IC-9700 and Icom IC-7300. Summertime I am using Kenwood TS-2000 at my summer house shack. Rigs are run at their factory power settings with no amplifiers.
Home QHT (KO29ek) is equipped with 10-40M Delta Loop Antenna.
Currently preparing the field kit to work LEO sats, Arrow II Alaskan antenna on an AZ/EL Sarcnet Mk3 rotator mounted on a heavy tripod.
Recently started operation on 2m band. Equipment: Icom IC-9700 and PA144-432-21-3B for 144/432MHz by YU1CF. Very interested in MSK144 and FSK441. My first Meteor Scatter QSOs were during Geminids 2021. Free for scheds!
Looking forward to starting LEO satellites operations.
I am also available on DMR ID 2480060 or in TG24804. The station is monitored only during evening hours (from UTC 17:00 onwards).
As I am learning Morse code and CW operations and am quite slow still will be glad to contact any beginner operator at speed 12-15 WPM on any band from 40 meters to 2 meters. So if anyone needs a companion for training - welcome for scheds!
