Biography

Hey, I'm Reza, from Tabriz. I was born in 2003 and I loved messing with electronics and radios since I was a kid. Growing up, I had a lot of fun making small kit and learning about electronics circuits and my passion eventually got me into the amateur radio, and at 16, I officially became a radio operator with "EP4IRN" callsign and it turned out that I'm the youngest ever amateur radio operator in Iran!

My love for electronics led me to study electronic engineering. I'm always trying to stay on top of the latest technology, keeping my knowledge up to date and trying out new gadgets.

In 2018, I got a class 3 license, and by 2022, I leveled up to a class 2 license.

Equipment

I use my own homemade equipment
I'm operating on 40M, 20M, 17M, 15M, 12M, 10M and 2M bands using SSB, CW, Digital modes, FM and DMR.

I either work QRP or QRO (50 Watts Max).

I'm using a homemade Multi Band EFHW antenna for the lowers HF band and a homemade Moxon antenna for the 10M band.
