Biography

I've been a Ham since 1998 but have been interested in Radio since my CB day's when I
was only 13.I've had the privelage to meet many wonderful & interesting friends both on
& off the air.What a wonderful hobby to have come across from an early age & still remain inspired by the whole Radio Bug.

I also work in Search & Rescue & also Suicide Intervention.

Icom IC-718 with Full Wave Loop for 17m,fed with open wire feeder to a homebrew 4:1 Balun.

Backup receive Antenna is half mile Farmers fence,which is believe it or not,a fantastic Receive antenna.At times out performs the Loop on Receive.
