Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

On HF, I am using a TEN TEC Orion II radio, no more than the 100W out to a home brew fan dipole that is cut for 40m, 20m & 10m, but thanks to the incredible in built antenna matcher in the Orion II, I can operate quite happily on 12m and 17m as well!! The antenna is mounted approximately (depending on the strength of the wind!!) 6m above ground level, but despite being quite NVIS on 40m, I regularly work VK and the Americas on 40m.
On the VHF and UHF bands, I have an Icom E80D for portable operation on analogue and D-STAR (when within range of a D-STAR node or repeater!) and have quite a few Motorola mobile and hand portable radios programmed for full band repeater and simplex FM operation on 4m, 2m and 70cms.
