Biography

Amateur radio since 1984.

Previously EB1BVQ (1984-1985) and member of the EA1RCG ("Radio Club Gijón" now extinct) school club station.

Using EH1EBJ on 50 MHz, since 1992 to 2007, with special authorisation.

Main activity on V-U-SHF and satellites untill 2018, but also HF from time to time.

My main QTH, in a rural area of Villaviciosa county, is 310 m. asl. and with a good take off in several directions.
However, due to family circumstances, I am currently also active in the province of León.

I have been active in the SOTA programme since 2023, running a portable station at mountain summits.

Also interested in home-brew equipment and refurbishment of vintage rigs.
