Biography

I started with CB in the age of 14 in the 1980th and stopped transmitting 5 years later. In summer 2016 I bought 2 PMR devices in order to keep in contact with my kids, during our holiday at the seaside. In the evening on the balcony I switched through the channnels and got in contact with some local HAMs. I remembered the fascination I had years before. Back home I used the next visit with my parents to look for my old devices in their garage. I was lucky when I found my old President Lincoln and even more lucky when I recognized that it was still working !

However, I wanted to use it on a legal basis from now on and therefore I started learning for the licence for my own. 4 month later, on Nov 2016 I made my licence and from this time on I am happy to be QRV on 10m with my old Lincoln and additionally with my 2m/70cm TYT device.
