Hallo OM und YL,
mein Name ist Sascha, Rufzeichen DN9SGE, QTH JO42EB.
Ich bin seit 2025 Inhaber der Klasse N und plane 2026 das Upgrade auf Klasse E.
Begonnen hat alles bereits vor vielen Jahren – ich denke, es war Ende der 80er – mit dem CB-Funk.
Immer wieder habe ich versucht, mit der 11-m-Handfunke QSOs zu führen, allerdings zunächst ohne Erfolg.
Bis Mai 2024: Ein CB-Kollege aus dem gleichen Ort war QRV – tja, den Rest kann man sich denken
Der Funke sprang endgültig über.
Meine Schwerpunkte im Amateurfunk liegen auf DX-Kontakten, QRP sowie digitalen Betriebsarten wie FT8/FT4, SSTV und MeshCom 4.
Gerade im digitalen Betrieb zeigt sich immer wieder: Mit wenig Leistung kommt man um die Welt.
Ich bin überwiegend auf 10 m QRV, gelegentlich auch auf 2 m.
Für den digitalen Betrieb nutze ich einen gebrauchten YAESU FT-897 in Kombination mit einem RigExpert TI-3000.
Auf 2 m FM kommt ein YAESU FT-2900 zum Einsatz.
Portabel funke ich mit einem YAESU FT-70 oder einer CRT Micron V2.
Als Antennen dienen mir eine GainMaster 5/8 sowie eine Diamond X300.
Für mein WebSDR ist zusätzlich ein 20-m-Draht unter dem Dach installiert.
Betriebssprachen sind Deutsch und Englisch.

Hello OM and YL,
my name is Sascha, callsign DN9SGE, QTH JO42EB.
I have been licensed since 2025 with Class N, and I am planning to upgrade to Class E in 2026.
My journey into radio communication began many years ago – I believe it was in the late 1980s – with CB radio.
Over the years, I repeatedly tried to make QSOs using a 11-meter handheld, but without much success at first.
That changed in May 2024, when a local CB colleague from the same town was QRV – well, you can imagine the rest
From that moment on, the spark was fully ignited.
My main interests in amateur radio are DX contacts, QRP operation, and digital modes such as FT8/FT4, SSTV, and MeshCom 4.
Especially in digital operation, it becomes clear time and again: with low power, you can work the world.
I am active mainly on 10 m, and occasionally on 2 m.
For digital operation, I use a used YAESU FT-897 in combination with a RigExpert TI-3000.
On 2 m FM, I operate a YAESU FT-2900.
For portable operation, I use a YAESU FT-70 or a CRT Micron V2.
My antennas are a GainMaster 5/8 and a Diamond X300.
Additionally, a 20-meter wire antenna installed under the roof is used for my WebSDR.
Operating languages are German and English.
