Biography

Born in 1951

Graduate Engineer retired (Electronics & Equipment at Ilmenau University of Technology)

SWL since 1972; licensed since 1973, Class A
Starting as DM3RCK, then DM3RMO & DT3RMO in Berlin, further Y37WO 1980-1989.
After Berlin wall falls I was going on with DL7UGA till March, 1999.
Then getting my very first call back in March 1999 - DM3RCK.

Until 2018 Member of German Amateur Radio Club 'DARC' and a Foundation Member of regional hamradio-club 'Barnim' (German DOK 'Y42') in 1997; that club I left in 2018 along with the DARC.

I'm loving CW and like digital modes on HF, especially DX'ing - with simple experimental antennas and without strong power!
But DMR also, talking worldwide on TG91 or on demand. Pse feel free to ask for it!

I'd like to meet you on the channels, frequencies & bands.
To all OPs I was meeting - thanks for getting in contact - it was my pleasure.

Ted

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Starting with "10RT" Russian Equipment (...for people who knows what that means!...)
Never missed: my ICOM 706 from the 1990's
also using a IC-7300 & HYTERA PD-785G for DMR,
Antennas mostly experimental short dipoles or Verticals

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
