Biography

My name is Frank and I am located in Hagen JO31QI about 20km from Dortmund and 70km from Cologne. Hagen lies on the outskirts of the Ruhr District Area, a cluster of cities in the north western part of Germany. I was born in Melbourne Australia in 1964 and lived there until 1972. In 1972 I moved to Newman, a town in Western Australia. I live in Germany since 1976. I am 56 years old and licensed since 1981. I like dxing on the 80-10m bands. Digital modes ( SSTV, N-SSTV, KG-STV, RTTY, FT8, FT4, Olivia, PSK, etc. ). But also nice ragchew qso`s as well.

Antenna for shortwave is a 6.7m vertical antenna.

Antenna for 2m/70cm/23cm is a Diamond X6000N

I am also qrv on the QO-100 satellite as well

Fortunately I have been able to expose a pirate who has been transmitting poems in CW and pictures in SSTV and KG-STV on U.S. Military Satellites (Satcom, FLTSATCOM) for many years and on QO-100 since it is qrv.

He used EA7JKW, EA7PP, EA7PY, VB7EE, FL5DD, AA1RX, ICOM and now uses EA7KJW.

He had a QRZ.COM site as EA7JKW with data from a German OM but used his own e-mail address.

Now he is back on QRZ.COM as EA7KJW.
