Biography
If you have had a QSO with me, thank you for the opportunity to contact you.
DOK E30: It´s a rare one ;-)
Licenced since: 1991
Born:1963
First contact to our beautiful hobby I made in 1978 with CB-Radio. In the late 80´s I had the first QSO´s with other european stations on 11 mtrs.
That was the point of time I wanted more. At the same time I had the chance to get to know DL6HCH, Herbert. He was the one who pushed me to make a HAM licence. After a lot of lessons in HAM radio stuff and cw exercises, I made my licence in 1991. Thanks to Herbert! Since then I own the Callsign DL5HU.
I stopped my ham radio activities for some years in 1997. Since may 2011 I am active again with new equipment.
My QTH is near the biosphere-reservation of "Lake Schaalsee". In volume, "Lake Schaalsee" is the 10th largest lake in Germany.
I hope, we will meet on band soon.
vy 73, Uwe
