Biography

Already when I was a young boy, I was infected with the radio virus by my father DM2ABO. He was one of the first radio amateurs in the GDR (eastern part of Germany). I got my first callsign DM3ZIO in 1970.

I studied electronics, worked as a scientist, lecturer, hardware designer and project manager and now I'm retired.

My other hobbies are geocaching and playing guitar.
