Biography

I always was fascinated about the ham radio. Finally, in 2012, I took the ham radio exam together with my brother (DL8RK).

Especially the crafting and self building of radio equipment excites me. So far the Lima SDR with the U02 extension is my biggest project.

Also the appearance at the DARC UKW Contest makes me a lot of fun. In the foreground is the fun of the transmitting via radio. Of course I try to become better every year.

At that point it is to note, that it isn't easy to reach a good result at the Ruhr region because that there are a lot of “big” contest stations which disturb itself mutually.

The height of the contest season is the September Contest. This one I carry through together with our local branch Z63on the pithead stock Pattberg as a portable station. Pictures and reports are on the side of Z63 under Fielddayplatz: http://z63.vfdb.org/
