Biography

I'm a Ham Radio Amateur since April 2000 at the age of 23.

I took a very long break between 2009 and 2020, but after that break I am more motivated than ever. Since 2020, I have worked extensively with digital voice operations such as DMR, D-Star, P25, C4FM and TETRA.

In 2021, with the help of my good friend Jurij, DL1RNO, I set up my first satellite ground station for QO-100/ Es'Hail 2.

A repeater builder project around the automatic station DO0BRB for FM and DMR kept me busy in 2022.

In the beginning of 2024 I successfully completed my Class A exam and have been on the air with my new callsign DL1VCA since January 30th, 2024.
