Biography

In 1991 I got my amateur radio license. I was then until 1995 mostly active in CW operations. Unfortunately I had to give up the radio for private and professional reasons. Since 2021 I've been trying to revive my hobby. Since I live in a rented apartment without a garden, I have to be satisfied with my magnetic antennas (AMA 21 + AMA 85). These are on my balcony, which, however, is only open to the south, all other sides (right / left / above / below) are surrounded by brickwork. In addition, due to the legal regulations, I can only transmit with a low transmission power - i.e. QRP. So worldwide radio communication from home is impossible. But it's enough for parts of Europe - better than nothing. At the moment I'm trying to improve my Morse code again - not easy after such a long time.
