Biography

Welcome to DK4OX!

My passion for amateur radio began at the age of 11. When I got a well-known magazine "modeller constructor", I became interested in electronics and radio engineering. Later, I collected a lot of old radios and televisions in my parents' house, mostly from large collections. Partly I brought them back to life, partly they were the sources from which I got my first base of electronic components for modeling . In 1972, at the DOSAF base in Frunze, I received the first Observation Call Sign, and in 1974 3rd Category UM8MBO , and here this fascinating world of wandering around countries and continents opened up, where I still enjoy spending my free time today.
Call sign DK4OX since 1992, category A. I will be glad to meet on any wave.

Member of the OV H24 club since 1992
