Biography

Thank you for looking me on QRZCQ.com.
I am located in the western part of Germany near Cologne and Düsseldorf (Grid Square JO31of) and only one hour away from the Dutch border. As a radio amateur, I am mainly interested in shortwave up to the border wave. Occasional DX connections on 6 m to 40 m are a lot of fun for me.
I really like the combination of an ANAN-SDR with the Thetis software in conjunction with an RF-Kit amplifier and control using the TCI protocol.
After 32 years I have left the club for various reasons and therefore I no longer send or collect QSL cards. Please do not send me any QSL cards! I log QSO's exclusively on QRZ.com and am happy about every confirmation.
