Biography

Clubstation DARC Local Chapter F18 Usingen

We are QRV from the heart of the "Nature Park Hochtaunus" DLFF-0068 and pleased to welcome you in Usingen, middle of the holiday region "Hochtaunus" just in the heart of the Taunus hills. As a former county and residence town, Usingen can look back on more than 1200 years of history. The many beautiful half-timbered houses and historic buildings provide a scenic backdrop. Even from afar is the landmark of the city to recognize, the St. Lawrence church (Laurentiuskirche).

The DARC OV (DOK) F18 Usingen is one of the oldest in Germany. Our members are QRV in most of all conceivable modes of operation, whether voice, Morse code, radio teletype, narrow-band television, facsimile, satellite transmission or data transmission over radio. Certainly is somewhere on one of the many possible amateur radio bands one of our members to meet.

By the way, ....each QSO with our clubstation count for the WWFF-Award. We send QSL currently only via DARC-Bureau, Clublog, LoTW and eQSL for each QSO. Please dont send us paper QSL via the Bureau since we DON'T collect paper cards.

Thank you for stopping by, we hope to see you soon down the log.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
