Biography

Hi fellows

Was Born in 1939 at the town of Heilbronn. I received my license in November of 1957 and have been active ever since . In 1969 I moved with my xyl to the USA where I was working for about 6 months . I there obtained the call W1/DJ4DM.
Since 1972 we are living in Konstanz on the shores of Lake of Constance. The Family consists of 2 harmonics my wife and me and two cats .
At present I am hooked on SDR and am using an ANAN-10 exciter as well as the Little FLEX1500 as secondary rig . In Addition the TS480SAT is also being used . I am fond of digital modes, with OLIVIA my favorite . My antennas are a 3 element yagi , a R7000 vertical and a multi-band Dipole.

Equipment

SDR : ANAN-10 with OPENHPSDR, FLEX 1500 with PowerSDR 2.7 plus a 300W PA when required, a TS480SAT for general use . I am using MixW 2.19 plus VAC when working in digital mode with my SDR-exciters . Antennas are: A 3 el.yagi, a R7000 vertical and a Dipole for 80 and 40,
