Biography
I was born in 1956 in Muenster (north-west Germany, about 40 kilometers from the dutch border (Enschede)). Now I live in a village of 10000 inhabitants about 10 km far away from Muenster ( www.altenberge.de )
My profession is dentist.
I am married with my wife Gerda and we have five children (15 to 26 years old)
I got my license in september 2006.
Since 1976 I am also interested in Broadcast-DXing. Please look at www.addx.de
In my shack there are some boatanchor-receivers like Siemens E309, E311,Telefunken E127, E863, ELK 639, Collins R390A/URR and some SAILOR-receivers from S.P.Radio, Aalborg, Denmark. In the past I collected professional-receivers of the 60ies.
My favorite interest in ham-activities is DX running my Optibeam OB9-5 and my EAntenna 40MDY1 Rotary Dipole 1 EL. 40m 12,5m long, but also the shortwave 80 and 160 meter top-band and DXing in the nature (the picture above was taken in North Denmark - coast to the North Sea)
