Equipment

Kenwood TS-430S - Yaesu FT-757GX - 2 homemade Antenna Tuners - homemade end fed Longwire Antenna for 10 - 40m Bands.
MIDLAND 'CONDOR' Base Station Amplifier - altough most QSOs will be made QRP with not mot than 50 Watts PEP.
For VHF I use Kenwood TR-9000 Allmode Trx.
For UHF I use a MOTOROLA CM MICRO re-programmed for HAM Radio Frequencies.
As VHF/UHF I use an X-30 or a homemade Double-Delta Loop monoband Antenna for 2m, and for 70cm I use a homemade
Double-Quad monoband Antenna with Reflector Elements.
When portable I use either a Yaesu FT-23 or Yaesu FT-411 Handheld VHF or an Icom IC-4SET for UHF.
When monitoring HF I use a Sommerkamp FR-50B, a historical Receiver with 8 tubes with phantastic audio capabilities.
I like old Transceivers and presently restoring a Sommerkamp FT-100, one of the first transceivers for shortwave entering the
German market around 1966.
Telereader for receiving RTTY.
For CW I use the classic Junker Keyer or a computer mouse which has been re-wired;-)
