Biography

I am living in a small Village south east of PADERBORN. Born in 1946 and on amateurradio since 1963. Got my first Call( DC8BB) in 1968 and in 1978 it would be changed to DF7VX. I am retired now since November 2011. The last 35 Years I worked as an Electronic Engineer at the University of Paderborn to construct and maintain electronic Equipment for the Physic Scientists.
My Amateurradios: a small Yaesu FT897d Trx, a hightech DSP Rx: KWZ30
and my favorite Transceiver: a perfect working Collins KWM2A. The Collins 30L1 is presently in my "maintain" shop....will be ready soon.
Antennas: a Wiredipol tuned by a homemade network, one long Yagi(6 m Boom)for 2m Dx Work and for 10 meter only a rotary Dipol.
