| Biography On the waves my handle is "Andy"
Manufactured in 1963 ,I am licenced in Hamradio since May/05 as DO3LR (ClassE License). I upgraded the licence in Nov/05 for Class A ,so my Callsign is now DF5LR. I,m working in the Airline-Industry as Maintenance Technician (Avionics) since 1991 on the Shortrange/Middlerange Fleet in Germanys largest Airline-Company. I have a lot of fun with my Yaesu FT-2000 Transceiver , working all Bands and all Modes (also Digital). As Antenna i,m using a Vertical for 10-40 m matched with a Palstar AT2K-Tuner.
If some power is needed my Ameritron-Linear AL-811H is doing a good job.
For portable activities i,m using my FT-857 (the right size for Holiday activities). The Alinco DR-620 does a good job in my car for a little bit ragchewing via several repeaters here.

Also Direct-QSL-Cards will all be answered. No Green Stamps or IRC,s required, i think if every ham pays his own stamps on the envelope, thats the right idea of cost-sharing ! |
