Biography

My name is Heiko (DA6MY) and I live in Ergoldsbach, Bavaria (JN68CQ) in the beautiful south of Germany.

I became active on the amateur bands in 2026 and enjoy making contacts all over the world. Most of my activity is on 15 m, 10 m, 2 m and 70 cm, using FT8, SSB, FM and DMR. My station is constantly growing as I enjoy experimenting with antennas and improving my setup.

Besides amateur radio I work as an industrial electrician and also serve as a professional emergency medical technician (EMS). In my spare time I enjoy drone photography, travelling and exploring new technology.
