CHILE
Thank you for contacting my station.
I confirm via direct, eQSL, LoTW, LDA and QRZ.
Hundreds of broadcasters around thw world, through Shortwave fill our attention and we get to know new cultures, one of them, great world service network, I believe reflects for all it's worth the
Shortwave BBC London. It's a greater satisfaction to have the
letters than identify our hobby in my suffix of amateur radio (1994) and to continue enjoying Radio in the 21st century.
With a simple National Panasonic receiver R-1037,
I achieved the first listenig in medium wave in 1969.
Little by little I was discoveringthe world thanks to the radio waves.
My first SW listening was with a very simple RCA Victor receiver.
The world of Shortwave opened up and through correspondence programs, I exchanged a lot of information, achieving friendships and experiences with other SWL enthusiasts. I was not longer alone.
Listening to technical programs gave me knowledge and so
advance in the implementation of improvements in my
listening station. What fond and beautiful memories!
With several friends, we created the group ARS
"Amigos Radioescuchas de Santiago”. Among the many activities, we edited the newsletter "El Mundo esta en sus manos”
(The World is in your hands)
where we information of listeners in
medium wave, short wave, FM and others.
A wonderful time of many adventures.
The last program to "La Estacion de la Alegria"
(The Happy Station) from Radio Nederland W.
in spanish was recorded in my home and it's
one of my best memories.
Remaining a monitor of NHK Radio Japan shortwave broadcasts after 19 years proves that the hobby is still alive and well and is part of the Radio that we all share. |
