| Biography Previously active in Paraguay with callsign ZP6XD with a Sommer XP-807 seven-band tower mounted antenna at 18 meters high, computer controlled automatic satellite tracking yagi VHF/UHF antennas, previous member of AMSAT-US and AMSAT-UK, 2.4GHz antenna and confirmed moonbounce, previously active on various digital modes with DSP-2232 and PK-232 TNC's, etc. I have confirmed QSO's with Space Shuttles and also the old MIR Space station. I also personally attended AMSAT Conventions in Orlando, FL, and Tucson, AZ. Presently in Chile, I'm just getting my ham activities started back up with a new Yaesu FT-857D and some new homebrew wire dipoles and a special copper-tube 3-element yagi for 10m which has one director and two driven elements and no reflector. This antenna is excellent for 10 meters and easy to build. I basically followed the design of the famous W. B. Cebik-W4RNL (SK) from this site: A Short Boom, Wideband, 3-Element Yagi for 10 Meters I also have an inverted vee wire dipole for 40 meters.
